Hello all! Welcome to another gaming update from yours truly. There are a couple things that I’d like to get to before I talk about the stuff that I’ve been playing. First things first, I saw a rumor about The Witcher 3 potentially coming to the Nintendo Switch. All I have to say is – make this happen. I would definitely love a portable version of The Witcher 3. So, outside of The Witcher 3 news, I wanted to also mention the Kingdom Hearts 3 thing. Apparently, it’s never going to come to the Nintendo Switch. I think that’s a shame. I would have been up for a port of that game too. Not sure why Square-Enix wouldn’t bother. Unless they just feel that it wouldn’t be profitable enough, I think it’s a silly choice. So, that’s it for news. Now to games!

Tetris 99 || (Nintendo Switch)
So as I mentioned last week, Tetris 99 released on the Nintendo Switch. I had been playing this a bit more. It’s definitely something I find to be pretty special. It’s simple but fun. I still find that the game itself is still pretty darn awesome. To anyone with a Nintendo Switch – Tetris 99 is free. The only stipulation is that you need to have Nintendo Switch Online to play it. I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Metro Exodus || (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC)
Outside of Tetris 99, I had also been playing Metro Exodus. I’ll most likely write about Metro in more detail later in the week after I feel comfortable enough. My initial thoughts is that the game has a lot of ups and downs. I was a huge fan of Metro 2033 and Last Light, so I had extremely high hopes for this one. I guess I’ve been a little underwhelmed. I’ve been enjoying the game, for sure, but it has issues with pacing and little annoying things done most likely to create a more sensible immersive atmosphere. Not to put anything off here, the game does have incredible moments still. I feel that the more linear areas are made insanely well. The story is definitely a highlight too. I think that this is easily the biggest jump, I don’t think that the other two Metro games had a story as deep as Exodus. Overall, I’ve been enjoying the game a lot, but yeah, I’m not sure if I want to say it’s better than 2033 or Last Light. We’ll see.
So that’s it for now. There isn’t really anything else I’ve been doing. I have some time off right now, so, I’m hoping to get in a few more games in the time being. We’ll see what else there is for me to hit up. Anyways, until next time!
