So here we are with another fine week in gaming. It’s been relatively interesting as of late. The possibility of Microsoft bringing Xbox Live to other platforms, like the Nintendo Switch, is something I wanted to touch base on. I think that this might be the start of something, depending on how it plays out. If something like this ends up being successful for Microsoft, I can definitely see Sony trying out something similar in the future. And hey, who knows, maybe we’ll even see platforms like Steam on consoles eventually as well. Only time will tell, it’s going to be interesting to see how this one plays out.
Apex Legends (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC)
So getting into the thick of gaming, due to the amount of things that I have been busy with, I don’t really have a lot here. I was at least able to try out Apex Legends. My verdict on the game might not be as grand as you might see from other people. I was a pretty big fan of the multiplayer in Titanfall 2, so I was interested in seeing how this game played. I don’t think that I’m into it as much as Titanfall 2’s multiplayer, but it’s okay. I don’t really see myself playing it for that long. I still prefer Fortnite when it comes to battle royale games, but I think that Apex Legends is going to be something that holds a solid following.
Onigiri (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)
Moving along, I also tried Onigiri on the Nintendo Switch. To those unfamiliar with Onigiri – it is an action massively multiplayer online role-playing game. It has a heavy anime influence to it. It’s about what you’d expect from a Japanese game. I’ve tried this game on several occasions throughout the years, with both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. It’s okay. That’s all I’m really going to say. If you’re looking for an average MMO to try out, Onigiri is an option for you. I feel there are better games available. I mean, Warframe is available on the Nintendo Switch too. So I would say just go with that anyways. Unless you’re crazy bored, then hey, why not.
So that’s it for now. I’m looking to Metro Exodus at the end of the week. Pretty excited about that one. As I stated before, I’m a fan of the Metro series so I can’t wait to get into this one. I’ll have some free time off starting to next week, so I’ll be trying to pump in as much gaming as I can. I’ll see what else there is on my plate. Until then, may all of your gaming adventures bring nothing but glory!
